Moonlight

Moonlight

Silvern rays atop leaves of trees
Illuminate an aura of perfect peace
Dancing silhouettes of flowers in the breeze
An enchanted moment for a perfect kiss

Beams radiating the brilliance of the moon
A sight that makes any lover swoon
Temptation peaks amidst the blue lagoon
As romantics wish it wouldn’t end so soon

Stars sprinkled across velvet skies
Like diamond dusts surrounding the moon up nigh
Nothing more majestic to the eyes
Only the moon, her beams reflecting paradise

A rush of desire penetrates the night
The play of light creates a breathless sight
Moments like these, as passion takes flight
Love spells conjured by the innocent moonlight!

** A poem that was written on a moon-less night**
